Dear Tom and Wolfgang,

I not only agree with Wolfgang, it is also how democracy works. We must find in a broder scope a concensus there the majority of opinions can be gathered. Of course each person has his or her own opinion, but this can not be taken as the right to block or override or refuse to take decisions or escape from consensus. Everything else is a stupit imagination! Humans are collective animals and use to gather together, why not now?
Yours
Kicki

Tom:
There is no single view of Civil Society.

Wolfgang
There is no single view of Pirvate Sector and no single view of government, nevertheless both governments and PS habe bodies which try to find a rough consensus, a mainstream ore a bases for commen action, where needed. If the emerging civil societ structure is "nonsense", than the United Nations are "nonsense".

There is a diversity of opinions within Civil Society, and any structure that attempts to derive a single voice from "Civil Society" is nonsense.

What is going on here? The question of mediation between the HR caucus
and the Tunisian NGOs is a nonsense. We all know the realities of the
situation. So what is there to mediate?

For me the persistence of this theme raises some questions about the
legitimacy of the CSb as an accurate reflection of the views of CS.
