[WSIS CS-Plenary] Open forum on role of ICT for persons with disabilities in indigenous social context

Dear all,
We will have a open forum on "ICT for persons with disabilities in
indigenous social context". It is joint forum hosted by Indigenous Caucus
and Disability Caucus in WSIS Civil Society.
TODAY, 28th September, 10:00-12:00, at the room XXII.
We hope many persons will join us though it is so short time notice!

Open forum on role of ICT for persons with disabilities
in indigenous social context
28th Wednesday 10:00-12:00
room XXII (the same room as CS plenary)
Objectives: to identify issues in common to develop alliance to solve the
problems of indigenous peoples and persons with disabilities
format:
1. overview presentations
Malia Nobrega from Hawaii
Kicki Nordstrom from Sweden
15 minutes each to understand each other with special reference to the
objectives of each caucus to be achieved in Tunis and beyond in WSIS context
2. open discussion with moderators: Maria and Kicki
outcomes expected:
3.1. mutual understanding and further networking
3.2. concrete joint action items such as disaster preparedness, common ICT
design issues, mental health, education, intellectual properties
rights/public domain knowledge...
