The Institut National des Télécommunications, which belongs to the Groupe
des Ecoles des Télécommunications, has developed a pretty unique concept: it
provides two complementary educations on the same campus. On one side,
TELECOM INT delivers an engineering diploma, and on the other side a
management diploma is obtained via INT Management.
Worldwide, several identical examples can be identified : Sup Com in Tunis
(Tunisia), ESMPT in Dakar (Senegal), MMU in Cyberjava (Malaysia) , ICU in
Daejeon (South Korea)
 and INT in France

Text proposal for the WSIS:

To implement a non institutional co-ordination between the different high
level education establishments to:
§	Create a worldwide homogeneous and coherent network of higher education
actors
§	Enhance best-practices exchanges and transfers
§	Promote those models in other countries to increase the level of higher
education in the field of ICT
§	Catalyse innovation via research activities.

Le Groupe des Ecoles des Télécommunications compte parmi ses membres l’
Institut National des Télécommunications. Cet institut présente la
particularité de délivrer deux formations complémentaires sur un même
campus : un diplôme d’ingénieur via TELECOM INT et un diplôme de management
via INT MANAGEMENT.
Dans le monde, plusieurs modèles identiques existent, par exemple : Sup Com
à Tunis (Tunisie), ESMPT à Dakar (Sénégal), MMU à Cyberjava (Malaisie) , ICU
à Daejeon (Corée du Sud)
et bien sûr l’INT en France.

Proposition de texte pour le SMSI :

Mettre en place une coordination non institutionnelle entre ces différents
établissements pour :
§	Créer un réseau homogène et cohérent d’enseignement supérieur mondial
§	Favoriser les échanges et la diffusion des bonnes pratiques
§	Promouvoir ces modèles dans de nouveaux pays afin d’améliorer la formation
de haut niveau dans les TIC
§	Développer l’innovation par la recherche

Ce réseau pourrait être sous le haut patronage de l’ONU [UNESCO], [IUT].
