Hi Marouen,
Share your sentiments in some ways re: the partnerships, workshops, etc. You
may wish to know that the ITU will be organising a World Telecom Development
Conference in Qatar in March (of course this is for their members but it may
be an opportunity to learn if you come through your country delegation).
There is also World Telecom in 2006 in Hong Kong (although this is a paid
conference. They may have fellowships though). So bottom line, there are
other avenues we could use to network, not to mention the NGO efforts such as
done regionally APRICOT, by APC etc. Perhaps we could pass on these info and
then see who from WSIS comes so we can further contacts and develop.
Regards,
Laina

subject. :-)
Well, I know that the proposal wasn't accepted but do we need the ITU/UN to
organise it ?
What I liked more in the WSIS, like many of the participants, the
opportunity of partnerships, of meeting people, of experiences exchange, of
workshops and trainings, networking ...
So organizing a "fellow-up" like event in 2010 should not be so impossible.
Regards
Marouen
