I am appalled at the very few statements of support at the Indymedia web
site. I have just posted mine (below).

Remedy is worse than the disease

There is no justifiable excuse to the seizure of Indymedia servers. The
lack of an explanation is even worse. If this is meant as a 'lesson' to
Indymedia and others who embrace the freedom of expression, no lesson was
learnt, except the tyranny of governments that publicly are the global
forerunners of 'freedom'. Your Highness the Emperor, you are naked!!

I do encourage all civil society organizations involved in the WSIS
process to express their support. Silence would encourage more of the same
arbitrary practices. Any organization can be the next victim. It is time
to stand up and be counted.
