information about Prepcom I, which can be found at:

Preparatory meeting(PrepCom1)

The preparatory meeting(PrepCom1) of the second phase of the World 
Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), provided for during the 
Summit first phase, will be held at the Medina Conference Center 
(Centre des Congrès), Yasmine Hammamet, Tunisia, on June 24-26, 2004. 
This meeting will address the process of implementing the Geneva plan 
of action, the expected results of the second phase as well as the 
Summit preparatory process.

Accreditation

New accreditation applications of civil society organizations and 
business institutions for participation in the Summit process must be 
sent to the WSIS executive secretariat before May 12, 2004.

Useful information

Numerous facilities are offered by Tunisia to participants in the 
preparatory meeting for the second phase of the WSIS (Tunis 2005).
       International Transport

TUNISAIR organizes, for that purpose, two charter flights 
Geneva-Tunis-Geneva, on June 23 and 27, according to the following 
program :

       June 23 : Departure from Geneva at 19.40 Local Time
                      Arrival in Tunis at 20.30 Local Time

        June 27 : Departure from Tunis at 15.35  Local Time
        Arrival in Geneva at 18.30 Local Time


        Airline ticket price : 350 Dinars (not including tax)

Tunisia will also offer accredited participants a 50% reduction on 
tariffs of regular flights.


       Accommodation
A central office for hotel reservations and car rentals will be made 
available for participants , and accessible on this website.
