[WSIS CS-Plenary] Comments or Inputs to CS Bureau Meeting

Hello all,
There will be two CS Bureau meetings during the Summit.
Your inputs or comments to the CS Bureau meeting on 11th
will be welcomed.
As of today Network & Coalition Family proposed a draft agenda
on 11th to the Bureau.

Please note that for the time being, 2 CS Bureau meetings have been
scheduled:
Sunday 7 December -- 16:00 - 18:00 -- ITU Building Room T103
- discussions will focus on practical issues during the Summit
Thursday 11 December -- 13:00 - 15:00 - ITU Building T103
- any other issues you wish to discuss

Draft Agenda for Bureau Meeting on 11th
1. The role of civil socity in the WSIS process
- Review of Summit phase I
[Review document will be provided for comments.]
- Civil Society as substantial equal partners in the Summit phase II
[Proposal document will be provided for comments.]
3. Summit II road map
- The impacts of the WSIS I declraration and action plans
- Will there be any change in CSD Secretariat personnel, operation?
- WSIS II meeting plans (PrepCom, Regional meetings etc.)
3. Clarification on CSD bureau list archive
- Transparent public archive
4. Proposal on Civil Society Bureau Secretariat within the Bureau
[Background]
CS Bureau appreciates CSD for its facilitator role between the
Executive Secretariat and the Bureau for the Summit I process.
CS Bureau believes such coordination should continue for CS's
active role in the WSIS process.
On the other hand, CS Bureau senses the need to set up inside
Bureau secreatariat to enhance legitimacy of CS Bureau and to
enhance coordination between the CS plenary, CS Content &
Theme group and the CS Bureau.
