I had a BX 16valve in black with red trim, similar to the Gti but with better body trim and much more ooomffff.  Great car.

On booze runs to the French hypermarkets it would fit 100 bottles of wine in the footwell of the rear seats (before you folded the seats down and filled it with beer and more wine etc. Upped the suspension so that you couldn't tell that it had a full load, and it still went like a rocket.

What a great car that was.
