The dates and place of the 1st WSIS-Tunis preparatory meeting have been confirmed: 24-26 June in Hammamet, Tunisia.

Hammamet, Tunez.

"A Preparatory Meeting for the Tunis phase of the Summit will take place at  Hammamet, Tunisia, from 24-26 June 2004. An invitation letter will be sent out  end of April and pre-registration will start in May 2004. More information regarding this meeting will be  available soon.

Una reunión preparatoria para la fase de tunez de la cumbre tendrá lugar en Hammamet, Tunez, desde el 24 al 26 de junio de 2004. Una carta de invitación será enviada sobre finales de abril. El registro previo comenzará en mayo de 2004. Más información sobre esta reunión será puesta a disposición
pronto. 

"Fellowships. Thanks to donations from Governments (at the actual stage Switzerland and Finland), a certain number of fellowships are available for Government representatives from  LDCs (in principle one fellowship per LDC) for the Preparatory meeting at Hammamet, Tunisia, from 24 to 26 June 2004. For more information please check the  guidelines  and the request  form or contact the  Executive Secretariat. Note: the deadline to submit fellowship applications  for the Preparatory Meeting is 12 May 2004."

Ayudas financieras. GRacias a la donación de gobiernos (al momento actual, Suiza y Finlandia), un cierto número de becas está disponible para representantes de gobiernos procedentes de PMAs (en principio, una beca por país menos desarrollado) para la reunión preparatoria en Hammamet, Tunez, del 24 al 26 de junio de 2004.
